Two New AI Books and Another One on the Way

Two New Succinctly Series AI Books
The last few months have been particularly busy on the writing side, and I'm happy to share that two of my latest books have now been published as part of Syncfusion's Succinctly series. The first is Prompt Engineering for Developers Succinctly. There is certainly no shortage of information about prompting today, but I wanted this book to be practical and specifically aimed at developers. The idea is not simply to show how to write a "better prompt," but how to actually work with AI as part of the development process. The book moves from the fundamentals into more advanced prompting techniques and then puts those ideas into practice by using AI to help design and build an application. My main message throughout the book is simple: AI works best as a development partner rather than as a replacement for the developer. My second new book is Ethical AI for Developers Succinctly. This one tackles a very different, but increasingly important, side of AI development. As developers, it is very easy to focus on whether an AI system works. But we also need to think about how it works, what data it uses, how its decisions affect people, whether those decisions can be explained, and what could go wrong when the system is deployed in the real world. The book looks at subjects such as algorithmic bias, explainability, privacy, model security, accountability, and responsible AI development. Most importantly, I wanted to approach ethics from a developer's perspective, not as an abstract philosophical discussion, but as something that directly influences the way we design, build, test, and deploy AI systems. Both books are available free from Syncfusion.
Next: The Impact of AI in Financial Decisions
I'm also currently working on another book, The Impact of AI in Financial Decisions, which takes the conversation in a slightly different direction. This book explores what happens when AI moves from helping us write code or analyze information to actually influencing financial decisions. The focus is on how executives, managers, consultants, and financial professionals can use AI as a decision-support tool while understanding its limitations. It looks at where AI can genuinely improve analysis and decision-making, but also at issues such as uncertainty, model risk, bias, governance, over-reliance on AI-generated conclusions, and the need for human judgment. As with most of my work, the goal isn't to make the subject unnecessarily theoretical. The book is designed to be practical, with prompts, frameworks, scenarios, checklists, and examples that readers can actually apply. Stay tuned... Together, these three books reflect something I find increasingly important: getting value from AI is not only about having more powerful models. It is about knowing how to communicate with them, how to use them responsibly, and when, and when not, to trust their output. That, to me, is where the really interesting part of AI begins.
